Back to the grind

Well, we made it back from Disney! We had such a great time- the weather was beautiful and Brevin fully enjoyed himself. His favorite things were seeing all the characters at the different buffets, riding the rides, swimming (if you can believe it- maybe we have broke his fear of water), and being wild and crazy in the evenings. He always seemed to get a second wind later in the day. I think one of his favorite rides was the Goofy roller coaster in Magic Kingdom. You had to be 35 inches to ride and he was 36 inches. I was a little nervous because I didn't know how he would do with the fast speed and twists and turns but he laughed the whole ride- and he laughed all 3 times that we rode it! It was great. He also loved seeing "Mickey's Castle." I guess since we don't have any girls it is okay to be Mickey's castle and not Cinderella's. It was a great time!
Hope everyone else is doing well! Liz, I am making your tortellini soup tonight for dinner. It smells great! Love ya all!

You look so warm and comfortable in your shorts and t-shirt. I wonder if shorts/t-shirt weather will ever return to northern Ohio. We are so very cold. So very cold...

Hey, Betsy. Has your doctor ever upped your Clomid dosage? B/c 50 mg never did anything for us. Even when they were tracking our progesterone level, it still never raised high enough to get pregnant at 50 mg. The second doctor who put us on Clomid was a fertility specialist, (and I felt was the first of all of the doctors I'd seen who really sounded like he knew what he was doing. Let's face it, ObGyns are for delivering babies and administering Pap smears.) As soon as I told him we had already tried 50 mg with no luck, he said, "Well, I guess 50 isn't enough for you. We'll start with 100 this time and go up if we need to." He was very reassuring and had great answers to all our questions, cause this is what he deals with all day every day. Meeting with a fertility specialist was the first time in 2 years I really felt like "Ok, this is really going to happen for us." He also told us other options, and I hadn't realized before just how easy artificial insemination is, and how cheap- like $300! If we hadn't gotten pregnant when we did, we would have done that the next month, it really increases your chances. Sorry for the long post, I'm gabby today for some reason. Praying for you, I know it's a very frustrating ordeal to wait through. Why don't our bodies just do what we tell them to? That would be so much easier.
